Birthday - Part 2 (Phuket): Day 1

1st trip to a beach out of Singapore and Patong beach, was a total difference. But hey, I still love Singapore's Sentosa!
1st day:
Checked-in, unpack luggage and out to explore the place.
Tiger Inn
Distance to the beach was really near: turn left after 50m, walk straight and there you go, right in front!
We saw various tour agencies and checked out the price for the events that BF have in mind. Everything sounds foreign to me, as he was the one who has been doing researches for the trip, and I was... all busy with work.
Looked around for snorkeling, Fantasea show, Trip to Phi Phi Island, ATV aka motor car rides. Got a good deal of all these at $108,000baht for two of us and settled the 3 days itinerary
Was really hungry and looked around for local food but did not managed to get any apart from restaurants, MacDonald's, Coffee bean etc. Landed on the fine sand and got to a coffee house along the beach. Lunch was quite nice and I liked the pineapple rice... Somehow, it has a special taste.
Time passes real fast and we got to head back to hotel for our first event.
Fantasea: Show + Buffet dinner
Check out the website
It was very vibrant with lotsa people, the bright lightnings and carols!
Dinner was in a huge 4,000 seat buffet restaurant - Golden Kinnaree.
A table number was assigned to us at entrance and boy! There are close to 5 buffet lines but... it's actually the same food for each buffet lines.
BF played some games after dinner and won a mini Elephant.
Mass announcement was made to call for entrance shortly!
* No camera/mobile phones are allowed :(
Process for safe-keeping and collection of prohibited items was really good. There are like, more than a thousand of audiences per show and with a good estimate of at least 1 mobile/1 camera per person. Yet, the whole process was done without much waiting time.
Just a smooth flow of moving forward to security scanning, taking a tag once items are kept in a nice NaRaYa pouch and you may enter the theater. Abide by the rules and everything will be smooth sailing, nice!
The show was nice apart from repeating actions till BF fell asleep for numerous times. Guess he was too tired after a late night at KTV and waking up early to catch the plane :(
Hmmm... I did not catch the storyline anyway, kinda weird. But overall, performances are good with elephants being the main highlights!
Photos of the dayThese 2 magicians really stick together throughout the show...
Oh, back to topic... I'm older today :( boo!
That's all for now... be posted again for the next 2 days @ Phuket. Zzz!
The heart's cold, it's just another beautiful mistake. 11:55 PM
