全角度愛你 MV (Quan Jiao Du Ai Ni MV) - 黃宗澤 Bosco Wong Chung Chak (Huang Zong Ze)
Date: 29 Jan 09 Time: 6.30pm Venue: 32 Sultan Gate Had a very original, in-house, warm and heartfelt celebration with colleagues! What's in for a great feast? - Lou Hei - Steamboat - Chef dishes With all the food, of course we needed our Operations team to do a great set-up which is very important as well. With such a spread of food, we sure need proper set-up to enhance the atmosphere and dining purposes right. Set-up was great as dining table was replaced immediately after a messy Lou Hei for steamboat.
Had a long night of gathering and feasting... Sis and myself went home with two bags of take-away for parents and brothers to enjoy too! It was always great to gather... regardless of what festive/occasion!
I loved Holidays and the kind of special bonding you'll feel around you...
People gets closer... happier... cheerful and forward looking...
It's all about the people around you and the energy you get!
Just hoping that it can last longer, but it always seemed to disappear on the very next day.
We got up super early, Zzz. BF don't even allow me to laze on bed! :(
Took a speedboat instead of the normal Ferry to save time but man! We're out in the BIG ocean, in a small shaky speedboat with 20 others, strong on-coming waves, wind and splashing sea water. Brr... cold~~~
The speedboat slowed down in the middle of the ocean as passengers are moving about when sea water continued to splash in heavily. It tossed from left to right along with the strong waves and it was quite scary can.
Alright, at least it's scary to me as I do not know how to swim ma. There's this teenage girl who was too frightened, and broke into tears... Brr!
(Maya Bay on Koh Phi Phi Ley)
We finally reached the 1st stop and there is this emergency situation. The 1st thing i did was to look for convenience store, and guess what... where to find convenience store on an island for sightseeing? Duh... Sigh! It was bad and did not spend much time enjoying the scenery on this Island, but looking back at the photos, wasn't it beautiful? It's like... I was there!!!
(Monkey Bay on Koh Phi Phi Don)
(Snorkeling)
Viking Cave
(People collect Swift's nest - for bird nest soup in there)
4th stop
(Lunch)
No more photos for the day... camera went on hunger strike!
(Koh Khai Nai - I think?)
Luckily Bf is there to be my navigator... like I mentioned, I can't swim and not to mention knowing how to control my direction out in the sea. We swam around nearby and ouch ouch ouch... knocked onto the corals many times, didn't know they were so hard! The fishes were more friendly, they do not bite and just swim around you.
There were photographers taking photos during the journey and of course, they took ours, printed out and put it in a nice photoframe with seashells. We spotted ours along with many others easily as we are the only Asian, and our photo was displayed as sample. Bought 1 out of 2 pc, as we didn't have camera halfway through and perhaps, something memorable to keep. Wanted to get both, but kinda expensive so... nah!
Yeah... completed all stations and had fun, it was nice, of course kudos to my beloved, he has done the research for this trip diligently!
Time passes real fast and we got to head back to hotel for our first event.
Dinner was in a huge 4,000 seat buffet restaurant - Golden Kinnaree.
Mass announcement was made to call for entrance shortly!
* No camera/mobile phones are allowed :(
Process for safe-keeping and collection of prohibited items was really good. There are like, more than a thousand of audiences per show and with a good estimate of at least 1 mobile/1 camera per person. Yet, the whole process was done without much waiting time.
Just a smooth flow of moving forward to security scanning, taking a tag once items are kept in a nice NaRaYa pouch and you may enter the theater. Abide by the rules and everything will be smooth sailing, nice!
The show was nice apart from repeating actions till BF fell asleep for numerous times. Guess he was too tired after a late night at KTV and waking up early to catch the plane :(
Hmmm... I did not catch the storyline anyway, kinda weird. But overall, performances are good with elephants being the main highlights!
Went to Golden Mile with bf to exchange currency for tomorrow's Phuket trip after work. It was really last minute and I have yet packed my luggage for the trip, and gonna reached airport by 7.30am.
Sis proposed to arrange for dinner with parents for my birthday before I leave for the trip and thought through several places from noon till night, but cannot seem to decide where to head for dinner.
Final deal: I chose the best option, Chicken rice steamboat beside Golden Mile. The childhood place for dinner and Ala carte steamboat ranging from small, medium to large set. Back then, steamboat was not even popular~
Was really hungry as I missed my lunch and ordered Satay, which was nice! Ordered a whole load of dishes when parents, bro, sis and hubby with the little mischievous reached.
The must have 'sweet & sour pork', 'pork rib', and 'chap cai'. No photos as everyone was too busy cooking and eating...
Ended dinner early and Bro suggested KBox.
Sis went ahead to book a room for 8 at Marina Square. Kinda expensive but we could sing till 3am, and hardly get a chance to gather, so why not?
First time, after many many years since I was like, 7 yrs old? The popular songs back then were from the Four Heavenly Kings aka 四大天王.
We haven't step into any Karaoke with everyone since then...
It was really fun, especially with the little gem running and dancing all over the place. It was a night of mixed classic oldies, children, retro and pop songs as we have ages from 1 to 50 with a series of birthday songs at 12am. Dad got a cake from Kbox, and it was quite yummy. Choc fudge if not wrong, but the bad part was, they do not have any containers nor box for us to bring the cake home.
Even so, 1/2 of the cake diminishes along the way, like a swarm of bees just passed by. Both Bro and bf, scrap off the chocolate by the side, then the sponge cake, and slowly, it was finished in no time. Slurpppp...
Stay tuned!
The FAMILY
Life has always been up and down...
Roller-coasting and causing things to be complicated!
How I loved them, despite the numerous fights or arguments that we had...
At times, one just can't control own's temper ya?
We are a happy family to start with, but why does things always turn out differently?
Can't we just live in harmony for the better or worst? Arghh...
In short, I still love you guys!
