Finally, I get a few days break on weekdays and since the weather was really good, we went to Sengkang Swimming Complex along with Brothers, Bf and baby Travis in the evening. Details:
It was a 10mins drive from my house and along the way in, there are several basketball courts opposite the swimming complex which are already good for usage. Driving in further, there are actually places that are still under construction for most of the other facilities such as Stadium?
We headed straight to the swimming pool and it was a nice place for family to hang out together! Travis was super afraid of water and refused to sit on his float... all he did was to sit by the pool, splash through a distance and walked around. He even refused to remove his clothes~
Didn't get to explore the place but I spotted a gym which is also up and ready! Most importantly, it has got MacDonalds outside as well.
Mobile was kept in the locker and I only managed to snap one photo.

Ha... 2010 Feb 14, will another job advertisement be out?
My girls are having fun at Arena and did not join them. Wanted to catch some rest and get back the concentration for studies! No more partying... but yet nothing went ahead as planned. Totally so not in the mood and everything was like wrong! Darn... self-reflecting. Yes... I am!
Happy Valentine's Day!
If I didn't mention how much you meant to me,
I'm saying it now...
I love you ALL!
(MY bf, soul mate, confidante & friends,)
Love is abundance, but not worthless.
Thank you for being around,
in good or bad times,
happy or sad moments,
I TREASURE you,
for it is you, that made me strong!
Many people can make you cry,
But it takes someone really special to
make you smile with tears in your eyes"
But if you have not, do not fret...
They could be just somewhere around to be found!
PS. Phuket on-goings for day 2 will be uploaded later, be posted soon!
Had lunch with Boss and Chefs at Man Fu Yuan today... Both Chefs are great with lotsa ideas that can make one energetic and charged. 2. The stationery shop with a nice colors combination. Stuff in there are really nice to have, but expensive to own. Hmmm... it's to each individual. 3. The Japan Food street. Upon entrance, you will be able to choose from a range of Japanese cuisine from $$ to $$$$. I had Bakerinz Macarons, grab it before it's gone! Last 8 days... * by Bakerzin
Left after lunch and went to Jurong Point to wait for Vin and found out some interesting places that was shown on TV recently.
1. The Icing Room, where you can purchase for a mini cake and decorate it yourself with ready-made candies and 'whipped cream'. How considerate and I thought it was quite innovative. Buy a cake, and you get to decorate it at one of the stand, choose the ribbon and wrap it up as a nice present for any occasion!
Certain things... just cannot be understood.
In such times, you will know who are the ones who will stay with you.
Not everything can be explained and supported with facts, but I'm already trying. There bound to be unhappiness which we just need to manage and minimize it? But why don't I see helping hand to streamline things...
Ignorance is not equivalent to bliss at times, someone needs to face the music. It is disheartening to hear and see things that are not positive. It is totally not motivating when all you hear are talks...
But, what can I do? It's not under my control... live with it?
Everything seems easy to be said, why does it seem like the balls are dropping from time to time... I'm not a goal post, nor keeper.
when I'm upset, I cannot tell... as I'll be seen as emotional.
when I'm disheartened, I cannot show... as it will affect everyone.
when I'm 'professional'... I hurt!
I always try to put it aside, but why is it that you just cannot understand. I just need some silence, at certain days when I'm having shit... Darn!
Venue: My house Time: 6.30pm Agenda: CNY cum belated birthday gathering Met Chengyi at NTUC supermarket to shop for groceries and as little as we tried to buy... we still end up with a lot of food. Why ar? We have already minimized to 1 vegetable, 1 each of chicken and pork, 1 seafood and some steamboat 'must have' items. Groceries comes up to $60 for 5 person! That's why, home cooked food are always more cost effective and nice... May and Bf came over after work to join us. Huat ar! Following by a whole night of Texas Hold'em, Mahjong, Black Jack and Big Two. It was a great night spent and I believed, everyone have enjoyed. Thanks May for getting the Swensen cake up despite your busy working schedule, CY for the book (i will try my best to read), Lincoln for trying so hard to arrange for a meet up in Jan but we're all too busy! To all my darlings, thank you for the time spent for getting the presents. Really appreciated! :)

To be updated!
Due to the economic downturn and as part of my job, I've to ensure that I'm aware of at least, how's Singapore moving and what are the industries' situation in the market.
It's tough for everyone, given that ever since day 1 of CNY, news have been reporting retrenchment and job losses in various countries. Not a good sign and quite disheartening for those who are affected. But hey, it's the journey that makes us tougher right?
Online researches does help me to know more about other countries on-goings and how are they managing/reacting to it. Since it's a never seen before economic crisis for the world, we should be able to make and turn back the situation by working hand-in-hand?
Perhaps, looking from another perspective... We are all gaining something out of it. The experience, knowledge, flexibility etc, I'm sure you can list a few on your side? No? Think again...

The context was quite relevant, just that at times... We tend to miss out the strengths in bad times, and looked harder into the weaknesses.
Happen to saw this personality test while doing research about work. It was quite good and I thought I should share with my peers. Believed that it will allow you to know yourself from a different angle, and might improve how things should be managed at work for the better.
It will explain:
I've tried, and I'm a commander :)
I did not cheat and answered all the questions truthfully, make sure you do as well and do share your results with me. How true is yours?
