Did not plan anything for NYE this time round and Lin asked for MJ. Met up at 8pm and countdown at home... CY won the first game of 2009!
After a night of MJ, poor bf lost. We went out for a drive after that and explored KPE, went to east coast, drove around hunting for supper from Jalan Kayu which was horribly packed, to Upper Thomson. Moved on to a few other coffee shops along Bishan road but all was either sold out or closed. How could it be... zzz!
Finally, went to my old hometown, Bishan St 13, and had fishball noodles at 3am! Made our way back before dawn break, and snooze till evening.

Met CY at 4pm for cycling at East Coast and man! The crowd was mad... Being a bad cyclist, i had to stop several times within like, 400m to give way to passengers. By the time, I can't even smell CY nor Vin!
I blamed it on the bicycle as it was too big for a beginner and changed with CY. Yeah... ride became smoother with lesser 'accidents'.
Wanting to go Bedok Central, we ended up in this very crowded Bedok hawker center. Can't remember where was it as we bumped into it along the way and decided to check it out. Seems like there a few nice Malay food stalls there. Bf loved his fried chicken with spices. There is a traditional Chengteng stall @ $2 a bowl. Queue was long, but worth a try!

We wanna have the last shot of fun before we end 2008 with a Bang!
Initial plan was to check out ZIRCA (located at the ex-MOS) but gave it a missed as the entrance looks really empty. But again, we reached early.
It was before 9pm in fact, as we managed to get a free entrance chop at Lunar. Left shortly as the waitress got us a very weird seat, right in front of a LCD screening LIVE soccer! How wonderful, but we were never a fan of soccer yar? Feeling uncomfortable, we left to hunt for other clubs.
Hopped into Arena, and we are the 1st customer of the day.Entrance are slightly cheaper too, if not wrong.
Whew~ there's this UV light in the club, and I was like... in white! Gosh... Totally uncomfortable as you could spot me right from the entrance to exit, from bar to stage. Anywhere, as I'm luminous!
Lesson: Never wear white to club, black is always safe!
Got a drink and left the club till it gets more rowdy.
Caught this Heineken Beer campaign outside the club and had some fun. Fixed my name with different 'plugs' of various colors.
Quite cool right... the photographer took a picture of my art-work too!
CY was fooling around with some squares and rectangles instead >.< 
It has been quite some time since we partied and the live band was great.
There goes the last Friday of the year... cheers to a better year ahead!

Ended MJ at 11.30pm and headed to Downtown east for movie at 1.50am. The long waited Australia... Yeah! It was a long movie but it was kinda nice. I liked it for some reasons, the history, the persistence, the love and the will to overcome criticism and power.

Christmas Eve: Work, Anger, Dinner, MJ, Movie, Sleep.
Distributed my pressies for my dearest colleagues in the morning, did some documents and time is up! DIY-ed a mini gift pouch and insert a mini Ritter Sports Chocolate and mini lollipop for Ops and Kitchen team.
Did in a rush and forgot to take photo... my hard work :(
Rushed off to Choa Chu Kang at 3pm to issue 2 warning letters to my staff. I'm sorry to do it on Christmas Eve, but I had to, work is after all work. Really, where's the sense of urgency and responsibility?
It's tiring... please buckle up!
We were granted early release at 4pm today, yeah! Left Patio at 4.30pm and took 4.40pm shuttle bus out to meet two of my darlings, CY and BF for dinner at Jurong. Supposed to go IMM but I'm not with my heels :(
Went to eat Nasi Lemak instead inside the neighborhood.
Received a bad call from ex-colleague before i could lay my hands on fork and spoon during dinner, and argued with him over some matters. It was a very very bad call... so angry! Can anyone imagine me having to raise my voice to talk to someone? He's such a barbarian!
BOO... Dampen my mood for nothing. Irritant!
Roamed around and decided to go home and take dad's car to drive to the beach/park. But, it was raining super heavy and decided to stay at home and play MJ instead. Was so hungry... and bought bread and cheesecake back home. Must be the bad dinner caused by the irritant!

Did not buy any presents for anyone for the last few weeks, despite several shopping trips to Taka, Wisma, Far East to neighborhood malls like AMK Hub, Century Square, Compass Point, Causeway Point, and Lot 1 etc. Nothing fancies me with the right price!
Before meeting Fran and Joy, last resort was Junction 8. Roam around and thought I'm dead, sure cannot get anything. To my dismay, I managed to buy most of the presents from there. So happy!!!
Bishan is still the best place to go... and I even get to do charity to Salvation army by getting them to wrap my dollies for Fran and Joy for $5.
M|phosis was a great place to buy present, yes... it was!
A lot of pretty stuff for my beloved girls in the office! Got some tissue packet holders (the ladies), handbags (ET & CH), and jacket (sis).
Luckily, Fran drove and I could leave my shopping items in her car. Bleah.
Reached home, bathed and settled down around 1am.

小笼包 | 蛋塔 | 猪肠粉Fran did a quick order for her dinner with Milk Tea, 猪肠粉 and Seafood Hor fun. Leaving Joy and myself fretting over what to eat. Yes, there was a lot of food items in the menu but not a lot looked appetizing as already, the drinks don't turn out to be nice.
Tempting to move to another eateries, we order side dishes instead. Joy order a soup and egg tart, myself, 小笼包 which was not tasty at all. It is so starchy that it could even stand on Fran's spoon. Oh dear, bad. Luckily I shared a McDonald's Mega McSpicy meal with bf earlier.Gifts Exchange

Presents unwrappedThanks to Christmas, we had our yearly meet up. On the eve of Christmas eve, we had our fun. It was nice catching up with the ladies, on the usual updates, lame jokes, 'arguments' and not forgetting, the simple yet warm celebration of Christmas. Not knowing what to do after dinner, we headed to Mustafa to grab some last minute presents for my colleagues.
The only thing we didn't do that night, was to take a photo of 3 of us together. We were all too tired after work afterall, all the best darlings and we shall meet again during Chinese New Year!
