Spent my time on bed till noon, when the sun rose and shine onto my butt. Refused to get up till it was 3pm. Had my lunch and rotted in front of the PC till late evening. Decided to go for a walk with Sis and baby nephew at Compass Point. Pondering for a long time, since last Christmas for a pair of shoes at DMK. Payday has finally arrived and for the sake of upcoming CNY and to have some retail therapy, I tired on various pairs of shoes and decided to still, get back to same pair and an additional pair to share with Sis. Spent close to a hundred for two pairs of shoes...
Headed back home to grab some milk powder for the precious little one. Then went to Tampines Ikea and Giant... Got to know something new today at least, parking at Giant and Ikea is free. Close to extinction in Singapore whereby parking is free at a shopping area. Shopped around for the needed. Dad got two pairs of table legs to do a new desktop table for the traditional old big headed PC, and some wooden blocks and 'L' level support to fix outside at the corridor for a few DIY shoe racks. It's weird at times to have all sorts of people around. A simple shoe cabinet that cost $9.90 could also be stolen, but still, the thief was kind enough to throw our shoes all over the place, instead of carrying it away with the shoes cabinet that they stole. Things to be glad for last month was that, we wasn't left sole-less after all.
Giant was a fast one as we only had our late dinner aka supper there. Dad was not feeling well as usual, with the frequent stomach gastric pain. Off we go, after entering the Giant with a trolley, and out with an empty in 5mins. Anyway, Giant is full loaded with people... It's another day nearer!
